It's a good start, but I would have wished he had put more emotion into his speech. I know he's always seen himself as an "intellectual" president, but what we need is leaders who are not afraid to pounce their fists on a table and shout "No NO NO!! This is not how we treat others". It would have been even more effective had he gone to the affected areas.
I totally agree; mass action in any form should be a last resort. It shouldn't even be considered, unless all avenues have been exhausted. I fully support their suspension, and any other legal actions that may be taken against them.
