Dear diary
I am so excited I do not know where to start! All this hype around me, what with motherdearest painting and all, I am thrilled to bits that she is taking it very very easy, which means I am getting her undivided attention!
As you can see with all them photies flying around, the old lady and her sister have been really busy. Between you and me, I think my dad is also heaving a sigh ………everything in this house hold is ‘coming together’ at last!
The two sisters still has to ‘tackle the happy room’, the ceiling of the passage and thank goodness they only need to do two patches in the main bedroom. As you well know, African Grey parrots do not take lightly to the odour of paint! I had a few sneezes…..but nothing to worry about.
I am currently sitting on the old lady’s shoulder and just sending up a ‘birdie prayer’ that she is not going on the run again, but no luck! There is so much happening in Durbs at the moment……I eaves dropped and heard she is going to some House and Garden show……the beach festival is on…….the July handicap is coming up…….it never seems to stop! What about me? I am just getting relaxed to receive some attention from the old lady but no, I have to take the ‘back seat’ again! Oh, well, I suppose she also has a life!
Ciao from a luvely warm day in Durbs………..motherdearest will keep me informed about what and what not!I should stop complaining because my fellow mates in Mitchells Park are out in the open, cold and wet! I thank my lucky stars!
