This bit can land you in real hot water. Heard the story of the man who bought his “Size Small” girlfriend a “Size Large” thong??? We don't want to tell you what happened next.
Fortunately, it's not hard to solve. Either ask her, or check her lingerie drawer. Check both bras and panties. When looking for a bra size, check more than one bra. Some women wear more than one size in this department, and the size can change with even minor changes in body weight. So, it's best to check a bra you know she wears. Still unsure? Why not leave a note in her lingerie drawer, saying that Santa would like to know her size... Or ask her best friend - women often know that kind of stuff about each other, and keeping in mind your good intentions, she should be more than happy to help.
How do sizes work? Panties are like T-shirts and come in easy-to-understand Small, Medium, Large. Easy! Bras are trickier - they have a combination of numbers and letters. The numbers – like 32, 34, 36, 38 – stand for the measurements around the back. The letters – and here's where it gets interesting – stand for the size of the breast, aka the cup size. It goes like this: A,B,C,D,DD,E and believe us when we say it can go above that...
Can't find her size? We don't recommend guessing a bra size, because there's simply too many sizes to get it right. It can end in disaster. If you're not sure of the size, why not try some sexy panties and thongs, or some sexy sleepwear.
So maybe see-through doesn't really count as a style... But it's a start. We know what you like, but to make your gift a hit, try to think what she likes. It's a classic pitfall to buy her something that's obviously just for you.
At this point, it's important to think of her, not just of you... If you're really battling, why not buy her two sets – one you think she will like, and one that you like.
