In our latest meet and greet session, Zoopy was very kindly mentioned over at SA Rocks, run by Nic, with this article contributed by Justin Hartman. SA Rocks has a fab attitude about the country we call home, and we support them all the way. If you’re in a hurry and can’t read everything they had to say, here’s a quick highlight:
Zoopy is going to be a really valuable service. Not only do they have the video sharing capabilities but they have also integrated photo sharing, similar to Flickr.com, and for me this is their strongest quality. The integration between a YouTube and Flickr type website is a really positive move in the right direction.

Tyler Reed’s also come out guns blazing in support of local social networking. He made some excellent comparisons between the international and local scenes - and he seems to back up our ring-fencing thoughts (that makes space for SA content and ‘content that interests South Africans’) that we shared yesterday.
