Dear diary
I am so happy to have my space back! What with my mom 'fiddling' around with whatever she does, most of the time she is doing her 'best'! I also decided to give it an early go this morning, the old lady mentioned something about 'load shedding' whatever that means!
As the old lady mentioned, I am now 'squating' in the budgie's cage. Hey, I do have carte blanche here so why not? I just feel slightly insulted cause my mom called me a 'war veteran'! That does not 'gel' nice with me cause from what I can make out with all the news bulletins going out, they are the very very 'bad' people that takes what does not belong to them! All I have been doing is 'wreck' the mirror of the budgies and 'nipped' on their feeding bowl. As for me, I find it entertaining cause that will teach my mom to keep me more occupied!
Between me and you, I am just playing up to her, she does try her best to keep me entertained. She even went as far as to roll up news papers all over the cages and my oh my am I having a great time shredding it to bits! Off course she has to clean up but 'bless her' I have not heard her complain yet!
I am making up for my 'destructive behaviour' with my increased vocab. This morning I told the old folks "look what a good boy" and "where you going?" I cannot understand this, whenever the old lady is busy in the kitchen, I jump off my cage, walk the long distance down the corridor and as soon as I get to the kitchen I am always asked "where do you think you are going?" what does she want me to say "I am going to the mall"!
I cannot fly because the old lady and old man decided it is in my own interest cause I might decide to go back where I came from and that is the DRC - for those out there the Democratic Republic of Congo! Mmm, I do not think so! I believe it is not the same as in the times of my ancestors. Talking about flying, if my mom knows what is good for her and me, she must never ever leave our balcony door open cause we are on the 33rd floor of this high rise building! Can you imagine what would happen to me if I take that gap?
Brrrrrrr, a very cold day in KZN today in spite of that nice picture my mom took of the 'sunrise' over the ocean but we are not complaining, the old lady made the most devine soup!
Ciao from a wet and cold Durbs, see you around!
