Dear diary Today I am going to be easy on the folks, bless them and guess what Viveka, for a change I have been at my ‘best behaviour’ when my mom went to lend her support to her god daughter getting her driver’s licence! I would love to share with you what a wonderful “babysitter/care giver” our Cynthia is. When my mom went to the UK and dad had to go to the office, my Cynthia that has been with us for about 5 years took such good care of me! That is one person I have never ever nipped in my life! She has such patience with me and I just love her gospel music she always listens to. She is a minister in her church and she is so dedicated. My mom always lend her support to her when she needs some admin/typing done for her sermons or any duties Cynthia needs to perform at church. Cynthia is so well loved at church and I believe from what I can make out when I do my normal “eaves dropping”, her congregation loves her sermons so much, they want to “borrow the books” that she prepares it from. She is so good, it all comes from her heart! She is so sweet, because she has decided to put her sermons in book form and make it available to her congregation. So you know what that means, I get to spend wonderful hours on my mom’s shoulder because she is typing away! Must say, the old lady is doing a mighty fine job re her background as a PA before! She is typing away at a ‘fine speed’ although she has no clue what she is typing, because it is in Zulu but Cynthia is ‘complimenting’ her for a fine job….spelling all in order because Cynthia has such a lovely hand writing! As you well know, I can store a mighty lot of information in my bird brain but Cynthia has been trying to teach me to say “sabona” when she arrives at work in the morning……mmm, I will eventually get there because English is my ‘first language’ and what with my mom throwing in an Afrikaans word or two……that can be a bit confusing! I hear they are all trying there best to get me to ‘store’ my name and address…….in case I go ‘missing’ but I assure you that will not happen cause I am very very happy in my ‘comfort zone’! Take note of my new "avatar".......hey the ladies change their appearance on a regular basis......suppose this bird can do the same!
