  Hi Pat, that fur on their antlers is only for the growing period. Every year the antlers fall of and every year they get a new pair of antlers. When the antlers are ready with growing, than the fur will be removed from the antlers, every year again.

  Wonderful to see pockets of nature still free, gives hope that the next generation could still see animals in their natural habitat and not only in picture books.

  Hi Pat, thanks for your comment, you are the first one. In the netherlands we don't have so many beautiful surroundings as in your great country but yes I am very lucky to live in nature.
