  1. What is Zoopy?

We're an online and mobile social media community, which basically means that users visit Zoopy to upload, share and discover videos, photos and audio.

  2. Why should I join?

We think you'll love it and here are a few reasons why:

Your Zoopy profile brings all your media (videos, photos and audio) into one place, at one URL.

With servers on every continent around the globe, our media loads at amazing speeds.

You'll have a 200mb per-file upload limit, giving you tons of space to create longer, higher quality videos.

Using our Zoopy Mobile site (m.zoopy.com) you can do just about everything from your phone, including uploading, commenting and watching videos at a size that suits you.

You'll be able to contribute to interesting and relevant Topics (dedicated content pages around events and people that make an impact on the world)

  3. How do I use Zoopy Mobile?

The good news is that our WAP site is compatible with just about every handset. All you need to do to use Zoopy from wherever you are, whenever you want is point your phone's browser to m.zoopy.com and log in.

If you're using Zoopy Mobile, click on the Upload link in the top blue nav bar, choose the file you want to upload, describe the file and start the upload process.

  5. What file types and sizes can I upload to Zoopy?

We accept any of the file types below, up to a maximum of 200mb per file:

  7. How do I embed Zoopy media on my own site or blog?

To embed a single media item, click the embed code on the item's viewing page to copy the code to your clipboard. Then paste the code wherever you'd like that item to display on your site or blog.

To embed a slideshow of various media items, click on the slideshow option you prefer from the search results page and copy/paste the embed code into your site or blog.

Something to set your mind at ease: embedded videos only start loading once a visitor to your site clicks play.

  8. What do I do if I've lost my password?

Don't panic. Just go to the forgotten password page and we'll help you reset it by mailing a link to the email address you used when joining Zoopy.

  9. Can I change my username?

Unfortunately not. Your username is the only setting you can't change in your profile, which is why we suggest thinking carefully before choosing it when you join.

  10. What rights exist on the media I upload to Zoopy

By default, all media uploaded is under an 'all rights reserved' license, which effectively means that no one else can copy or use your media. However, when uploading you also have the option to license your media individually under a Creative Commons license. It's totally up to you.

  11. How do I edit my media items?

Once you're logged in, go to the viewing page of the video, photo or audio clip that you want to edit and click on the edit link.
