Arangieskop "Everest" of Western Cape

Mike Lundy describes Arangieskop as the "Everest" of Western Cape trails, located in the Dassieshoek Nature Reserve outside Robertson, about 140km from Cape Town. A group of us hiked part of our last prep for Kilimanjarothis weekend. A word of warning, this hike is rated as severe and is only two directions: up and down. This weekend mutha nature made sure we get our rands worth with extreme winds, some wet & cold. I suppose 7degrees Celcius, rain & wind would be just a peak into the surprises Kili's going to give us in 2 weeks time. Words like "Pole-Pole" (slowly-slowly) & "how's the legs" soon became 2nd nature.
