Im not a South African but i've been interested in South Africa (mostly because of the Wo more...rld Cup) and i might say you guys really have a high crime rate. Anyway what i wanted to say (and it will sound a little racist and i apologize for that) is seeing that the DA is a dominant white party, maybe you should consider having more black people join the DA. I seriously think democracy needs power change and the ANC has stayed for too long and i was just thinking given South Africa's history, if you had more black people maybe people could appeal to the DA more. Just my thought, get back to me and tell me what you think of the idea.

The fact is, all of the changes we are bringing in now should have happened from 2000, but instead we had the ‘restructuring process’ which never really created any kind of structure. So now we are trying our best to make up for lost time and place everyone. Unfortunately this will take time, and I understand if you do not want to wait. The problem is, cases such as yours exist throughout this organisation. We have only introduced the first phase of pay parity, which has at least eradicated all of the severe pay imbalances that previously existed here. However, we are now entering the second phase, where each person will be assessed individually and placed on an appropriate level in their salary band. At the same time, the objection process is being handled rigorously, so you can be sure that if you do lodge an objection it will be dealt with seriously. I appeal to you to so. Also, I ask you to be patient a little longer – we are getting close to having a stable and well functioning administrative structure, and this will allow for proper performance management, so that those who work well are duly rewarded. I hope that you will consider this – we need your expertise here. HZ
