The Magazine Publishers Association of South Africa (MPASA) held their annual PICA awards at Emperor's Palace in Johannesburg on Thursday, 26 November.
Among the top winners of the evening were:
'TASTE' editor, Sumien Brink who won editor of the year - customer publishing - 'TASTE' also won the customer magazine of the year award;
Esmaré Weideman, editor of 'YOU', 'Huisgenoot' & 'Drum', who won the Jane Raphaely editor of the year - consumer publishing;
Leading women's magazine 'Sarie' won the consumer magazine of the year award; and
the Cape Media Corporation's 'Leadership' magazine won the business-to-business magazine of the year award.
