Mayor Helen Zille today hosted a farewell party at the Civic Centre for the Paralympics Team going to Beijing. Zanele Situ, who has won many gold medals previously, and Achmat Hassiem who is competing in the butterfly and freestyle races were among the many participants that attended this joyous occasion. Achmet is hoping to realize his Paralympics dream of bringing one medal home at least.
