Autism Executive Director of the Western Cape Gerhard Pieterse has locked himself in a jail cell in an attempt to not only raise R1 million for autistic adults and children but also in a bid to raise awareness about autism. Executive Mayor Helen Zille came to say a few words and to make a donation towards the R1 million autism fund.

Thanks Gerhard for this great overview.
I must say that I didn't enjoy the interviewer, I found her robotic and impersonal- the interviewer needs to care about the subject, and can't just recite her questions and chew gum all the way through without a flash of emotion on her face.
Anyway, your passion and perseverance shone through, which is what counts the most.
