Competitors from all over South Africa and overseas started racing each other in the South African Solar Challenge. Professor Hide ki Kimura, a professor in the electrical engineering faculty at Tokai University and Ken jiro Skinozuka told me about their solar car.The challenge started in Pretoria and went to Cape Town, from Cape Town to Durban and then into the final leg of the race back to Gauteng.These cars are green energy users and emit no pollution or poisonous gases.
