Helen Zille addresses the media about allegations by MEC Leonard Ramatlakane that PADLAC (with whom Zille recently marched) is a vigilante group.

    Agent provocateurs! Reminds me of my days involved with the civil rights struggle in the USA. That's what the police "prescribed" then and I see its surfacing against PADLAC. Always remember this: you never do anything good without making enemies.

    No politician despite whatever affiliation should support vigilantes. This reminds me of the days when Vakplaas supported Inkatha vigilantes in Natal against the people in the 1980's
