Dear diary
I am back! Contrary to Arnold Schwatzeneger......"I'll be back"! Ha, you thought I had writer's block, no way, 'mother dearest' with excuses, excuses! I will overlook that, at least she got rid of her flu bug and (in my bird world, which does not make sense) she always 'complains' about them PC gremlins! Whatever, I better be nice to her and we will leave it at that!
She has just given me the most devine meal- broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, chillies and them "grendelch".......I can be excused, my spelling is not up to 'scratch' and the Oxford dictionary also did not help much!
I do not think I have ever given you the 'run down' of a day in my life. At 6-30, as soon as I am awake and see the old folks are still fast asleep, I start off with 'ooooohhhhh whhhheee'- from the bottom of my tummy. Then I go through the whole 'menu'....."what did mommy do?", "Barney want a apple", "what?" etc. When they had a good night's rest, I can hear them 'chuckle' but when my dad had Night Racing, he just pulls his pillow over his head- "bless him"! He is never nasty to me.
Did not mean to 'eavesdrop' this morning. My dad had a 'nightmare' about me flying off the 35th floor of our building! He said that a friend of ours, Rodney, left a window opened! Thank heavens it was only a dream. Mom gets the 'drill' every morning from dad! "Close the doors, the windows" etc. That is why I am one lucky fellow being loved so much by them.
As mentioned to you before, I sleep wherever I want. On top of my cage, or on my tree, or inside my cage. Bet you did not know this! When I go into 'sleep mode' on my one leg, my claws go into 'lock mode' and that prevents me from falling off wherever I am sleeping. Lucky me!
No change with them 2 'irritating' budgies, all I give them is "stop it"! Thanks to my mom. By the way, in case I 'repeat' myself, I am having a 'senior moment' and hey, parrots do repeat themselves, I can get away with it!
My dad is on his way home and mom has to go and cook.......surprise.....what with this 'soup diet' and all she has been on!
Ciao from a 'back to normal' house hold for a change!
