Helen Zille today addressed the public at an event which signified the relaunch of the Democratic Alliance. Zille stressed that today's launch "is not an election campaign launch" but in fact a launch, "of a new vision for South Africa: a renewed determination to make the South African dream a living reality".

Im sorry, Im all about 'change' and whatever but omg DA?!? can you rip obama off anymore? I feel that the DA are the right party for my vote, but come on...and that song? Somewhere over the rainbow?

I'm a little annoyed that the national flag is used backwards on the stage in this event. When hung vertically, the red should be on the left!
